Blindfold Ivan refers to the MO of hacking into the Public Security Network of the IR-System and cutting out just the images from the moment the abduction takes place. The abduction involves women, usually young, and most of the time in the public circle. They are smuggled out of Japan, where their organs are sold on the black market. The reason there are no witnesses in spite of the fact that they disappear in the middle of busy areas is likely because the eyes of passerbys were hacked to “blindfold” them.
